The construction and development of Ruston’s finest retail complex is coming along nicely. The 12,000 square foot inline retail building is in its final phases and the building exterior is having the finishing touches to complete the look. North Village Plaza – Progress Update
Great things are taking place at North Village Plaza as the development continues to take shape. We are on schedule for occupancy in the Kentucky Building, as planned, in December, 2010. North Village Plaza is changing daily with construction on the 12,000 square foot building moving at a rapid pace. We’re working prospective tenants to secure leases for the building’s completion and continue to engage interested parties regularly.

North Village Plaza Takes Shape
It’s been an exciting time for North Village Plaza! This past month we’ve been hard at work, with significant progress at the mixed-use commercial development. The magnificent entryway proudly displays our name, and with the entry beams and signs in place, the boulevard being paved and the pond filled - the progress is palpable. Landscaping is about to begin and we’re thrilled with how everything is coming together.

Fox’s Pizza has been open for just a few weeks in North Village Plaza and business is booming! Sales are well beyond what had been anticipated and the new location has broken all previous sales records from other stores in the area.

Fox Pizza Opens July 6 – New Progress Made to Shopping Center
The walls are going up at North Village Plaza’s outdoor shopping center. This past weekend we were hard at work laying the block walls that will be on the south side of the Hwy 33 entrance. We are also working on the other entries of North Village Plaza and making steps forward on the boulevard.
While there is still much work to be done, Fox Pizza will open for business on July 6th. Please stop by and bring your family for some delicious pizza and great deals at North Village Plaza’s newest addition. Please continue to check this page for news and updates on North Village Plaza.

North Village Ground Breaking Ceremony
Thank you to everyone who attended the North Village Plaza Groundbreaking Ceremony. With the support of community leaders and our key financial partner First National Bank, we celebrated the future of Ruston. Former NBA legend, Karl Malone, proudly commemorated the occasion by doing a ceremonial bucket load of dirt as shown in the photos below along with local dignitaries breaking ground.
Upon its completion, North Village Plaza will offer residents a place to enjoy a variety of amenities including shopping, dining and entertainment. In May, the project will be showcased at ICSC RECon Convention in Las Vegas.
